From the kitchen a step up leads to the tranquil sunroom which is an ideal place to sit with your morning coffee, with access via a stable door into the garden. A step up in the hallway leads to the shower room which is handy for freshening up after a day by the coast. Upstairs there are three bedrooms: two doubles with exposed beams and excellent views of the local area, and a bunk room. You can soak in the roll-top bath in the upstairs bathroom and relax after a day’s adventures. Outside, the tiered rear garden incorporates a BBQ and terrace where you can dine alfresco and enjoy the sea air. Steps lead up to a garden bench further up the garden where you can take in the stunning views of the surrounding hills. Private parking is available for two cars on the street opposite the cottage.
When you want to explore the local area, you can visit the working fishing harbour at West Bay (4.5 miles) or the quirky town of Bridport (3 miles). You can relax on the beach at West Bay or visit one of the resort’s charming cafes, while Bridport is home to a twice weekly market.
