Local places of interest include Winspit Quarry (just over a mile), Chapman’s Pool (just under a mile), Dancing Ledge (2.5 miles) and Old Harry Rocks (7 miles). The Victorian seaside town of Swanage (4.5 miles) features a traditional promenade, pier and a sandy beach, and you can catch a steam train from Swanage to Corfe Castle (4.5 miles). Heading north you can explore the stunning Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve (7 miles). From Studland (7 miles) you can catch a ferry to Poole or Brownsea Island.
