Enjoy a family holiday in Swanage. This flexible property would be ideal for a mid-size group, such as a family with some younger kids and a teenager who wants to be included but needs a bit of space. Swanage has plenty to offer to keep everyone entertained. Make the most of this wonderful location by heading out to explore the Dorset coast and do a bit of fossil hunting, or simply relax on the beach with an ice cream.
As you walk into the property you’ll see a spacious lounge/diner, finished with wooden touches. There’s a large window which fills the area with natural light, and to one side you’ll see a staircase. It’s a nice spot for eating, relaxing, watching films and chatting. Continue through an archway to find a gleaming modern kitchen, finished with a wooden floor. Head upstairs, where there are three bedrooms. The king-size room is light and airy, as is the pretty twin room, and finally there’s a lovely single bedroom. The upstairs is completed by a family bathroom with a shower, WC and a bidet. The cottage has an enclosed rear garden, secured by a wooden fence, where you can stretch out and bask in the sunshine.
Swanage is a friendly and bustling area, and you’ll have plenty of fun places to eat, shop and explore. It’s on the coast, so the beach is only 0.5 miles away, and full of other holiday-makers. If you’d like some quiet, take a walk on the stretching cliffs and relish the fresh sea air. There are plenty of fascinating geological features, including Old Harry Rocks (5 miles) and Durdle Door (16 miles). Historians are sure to have a good time at Durlston Castle, 1.5 miles.
