Spanning three floors, with a layout reflective of its age, this unique property welcomes you with a kitchen/ breakfast room upon arrival. Climb a set of stairs to discover a bedroom and the family bathroom with a luxurious free-standing tub. A few steps down, but on the same floor, the beautiful living area unfolds, boasting a wood burner, beamed vaulted ceiling, and a dining space. Descend another set of steps to the lower ground floor, where two additional bedrooms await, showcasing some of the cottage's most historic features, including a flagstone floor and exposed stone feature fireplaces. A shower room completes the internal layout. Step outside to relish moments in the private, enclosed gravel garden, featuring a raised seating area that offers spectacular views across the Downs and a separate table and chairs for al fresco dining in the fresh sea air.

You’ll find yourself conveniently located within 0.5 miles of this vibrant beachside town's shops, pubs and cafes, with the sandy beach similarly close by. Immerse yourself in the area's rich history, with Swanage having been a beloved seaside resort since the Victorian-era. The iconic Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site is at your doorstep, providing a backdrop of natural wonder, accessible via the South West Coast Path (500 metres). Take a steam train journey from Swanage Railway Station (300 metres) to the ancient village of Corfe Castle, or, during the summer months, depart from the pier on a boat trip to see this beautiful coastline from a whole new perspective.

Fabulous cottage with plenty of space. Great location with easy quick access to the town. The garden area is great with sunshine most of the day, a really asset.

A property of real character. Very spacious, sympathetically furnished and well appointed. In the centre of Swanage but with ample private and peaceful garden space.

Great cottage. Fantastic central location for beach, pubs, shops and walks to Durlston country park etc. the cottage is also really well stocked with everything you will need (eg clothes airer, cleaning equipment etc), highly recommended

Excellent property! We have spent a most enjoyable week in the Narrrows which provided a delightful and charming home for our family for the week including our two dogs. There is plenty of room for six people and very comfortable beds for all. It has a great location which is very near to the town centre yet quiet inside. The Narrows was a lovely property, so our overall score was very good. we decided to cater for ourselves rather than eat out all the time. We had to buy a potato masher as there wasn`t one in the property (We left the one we bought). There could have been a few more saucepans, bigger ones in particular. Also, there was one tiny non- stick frying paRead moren and one big one that was not non- stick, so it was difficult to use. other than these few points we had a great time and really enjoyed staying there Hide

The Narrows has provided a great base for our first visit to Swanage. A lovely cosy cottage with lots of character and great views from the garden! Swanage is lovely - so much to see and do nearby !

Lovely time celebrating an 80th Birthday. Heatwave ensured lots of swimming, We didn't see a cloud in the sky all week! Downstairs felt like sleeping in Corfe Castle !

Lovely spacious cottage in a great location. Exceeded expectations. Close to main town and beach with good proximity to restaurants. Great service from company as I left some valuables behind and they were very helpful in getting them back to me.

Swanage - what a beautiful seaside town. Everything is on your doorstep. A few of our favourite places to visit Steam train to Corfe Castle Open top bus to Sandbanks via the ferry Wonderful walks along the prom Lulworth cove Durdle door
